These contemporary earrings combine mixed metals, clean lines and geometric shapes. The hoops are made of 2mm round sterling silver wire that has been shaped into modern rectangles. For a gorgeous contrast of metals shiny faceted 3mm gold vermeil nuggets slide freely along the bottom of the earrings. The earrings measure 17mm wide and are 23mm (about an inch) long. I've soldered sterling silver posts to the wire and they're held in place with sterling silver backings. These earrings are comfortable to wear and the mixed metals and sleek design make them a really eye-catching accessory.
