This opal ring has such a gorgeous color play of blue and greens with some subtle flashes of fire! The 6mm stone is an opal that was mined from the Lighting Ridge mines of Australia and it's a triplet so it is a natural piece of opal topped with rock crystal quartz. Opals are soft stones so the layer of quartz makes the stone more durable. The opal is bezel set and the stone sits on a hammered beaded sterling silver band that is about 2mm wide. This ring is a size 8.5.
