My favorite season is almost here and I am thrilled! Us Canadians really need to soak up the sun and warm weather while we can because the season is way too short. And though I've mostly lived in pants with elasticized waists for the last year, it looks like there'll be more opportunities to dress up and leave my home in the coming months. Seasonal trends definitely influence me as I make jewelry and plan new collections so here are the ones that I wanted to "add to cart"!
Candy-colored pastels are popping up all over the place and it's making me re-think my standard neutral colors. A good way to ease in to the trend is with an accessory like this handbag in a pretty bubblegum pink shade.
The shoes actually hit on two trends this year; a quilting texture and sandal slides. The chocolate brown hue is versatile and I'm betting they look good dressed up or down.
A large straw tote definitely says summer and you can't go wrong with this one from Banana Republic. It's a bonus that it's on sale too!
When the weather heats up a breezy dress is a must and the pretty one pictured also has some smocking which is having a moment.
Bucket hats are trending and I'm here for it. I love the fun casual look and the brim is perfect for keeping cool.
Is it time to trade in your aviators? These funky rectangular sunglasses would be a stylish option.
And finally big statement earrings and jewelry with organic forms and shapes are popular for the season and I just happen to make something that ticks those boxes - brushed brass studs.
Which trend are you going to try? :)
