These thick hoops are made with sterling silver wire that features a beautiful texture and pattern. The wire is about 4mm wide for a chunkier hoop but at 17mm wide they're small enough so they don't feel overly heavy. I've soldered sterling silver posts to the hoops and they're held securely in place with sterling silver backings. I love the pattern on these and think the wider size and the sleek texture give the hoops a sophisticated look.
